Many of us have sent Google feedback, saying that their information is incorrect. We've identified the body of water as Gulf of Mexico. Google "thanked" me for submitting feedback.

Gulf of America! Outrageous. In our face.

We have been saying that Democrats don’t communicate as well as the Republicans and that’s part of the reason we lost the election. Our communication is not as simple, gutsey, and direct as the so-called Republicans. Well, Gulf of America is an example.

I have been saying we have to stop calling them “conservatives” because they are not. They are Reactionaries. A party that negates the good that has been done. That turns back the clock. Let’s stop calling them “conservatives” and start calling them what they are: Reactionaries. Thats an example of better communication. We’re not doing that.

Likewise, the so-called “detention centers” for those expelled from the country by ICE should be called concentration camps, not detention centers or some other harmless term. The New York Times says, “migrants at Guantanamo.” What about, “those expelled to the concentration camp at Guantanamo.” I think this would help us with our communication. Then when there is a hostile caller to the show, use this language right off, just like the Republicans do to make their points more viscerally and directly.

Michelangelo, have a great rejuvenation and retreat! We all need to do whatever it takes to see this takeover through and help throw them out. We need to begin to “heal the healers” on a regular basis. Everyone on the Progress Channel is a healer. Think, “Heal the healers” so everyone can keep going.

Richard

Incredibly bizarre and eerie. The final comment my friend is all Steven Miller. Orange Hitler isn't smart enough to wall off a paper shack.

I'm not liking Google, they are in DumDum's pocket. Aside from this map stupidity I asked Google Home if 'President Trump is a convicted Felon' and it answered 'I have no information on that'. I tried stating it a few different ways since Google Home is stupid that way with the same response. But when I asked Alexa the same question I got a one minute run down. Along side the Baby LaLa pettiness with AP on the map thing there seems to be outright censoring. I don't watch FOX (any stations really) but ,ay there be some subliminal messaging that has been going on as well. I remember back in my high school days about how a frame of a product would be inserted in a commercial to get that product into ones subconsciousness. Just Asking.

Commercials these days revolve around bunch of happy people flashed on the screen at a fast pace to sell stuff and I guess our reduced attention spans are taken into consideration. Back when smart phones first came out, my sister who had never been into electronics told me when she watched the commercials, she suddenly realty wanted one and couldn't reall explain it. As far as I remember the adds featured happy people having fun with their new phones. Is that all it takes to sell something. Happy people enjoying whatever product is being pushed?

Big pharma does this. It’s disconcerting hearing the speed reading of the side effects (up to and including death) while the people are enjoying life.

just because trump blasts a horn to say the Gulf of Mexico has a new name, it doesn't make it so. In Colorado, we have a mountain called Pike's Peak. Zebulon Pike went up there but Never claimed it for his name as explorers do. Some years later white folks here did that. For centuries this mountain was named by the Native Ute tribes as Tava or Sun Mountain. Once I researched this I never call it Pike's Peak. The conquistadors also called it Sun Mountain.. Pike climbed up this peak in the 1800's.. When my folks moved to Security Widefield in June 1972, I could see this mountain from my bedroom window. I would look out and marvel as the sun rose, casting pink light on it but as it rose higher, the rays of the sun it the mountain lighting it up! I loved that and that reaction I had in the 1970's is the same reaction the Ute's and the Spanish after them had and why it was called Sun Mountain. I don't care what folks outside of the US are trying to adopt. I left home in 1977, when I moved back in 2013, some misguided conservatives , I'm guessing since the US Olympic headquarters were built here began calling it America's Mountain.. It was repugnant! Offensive! that name is only mentioned locally but some folks on the NBC Local affiliate new channel KOAA 5, especially the weather person began saying, or they had been saying it and I thought 'what a crock of shit!' America's Mountain like it was a real thing. and their eyes would light up. So take it from me it you hear people making these references to things previously known as other names it is a conservative group trying to insert very conservative values..inferences, to drown out any other cultural reality thana very narrow idea. America is named after Amerigo Vespucci... not the people from Europe who came over here with the puritanical sense of religious freedom which mean their values over all.. Egotistical and in his case maniacal egotism.

HA ! the most polluted body of water (arguably) in the world, oil industry sludge, oil leaks, and the polluted runoff coming down the Mississippi River, it is the toilet bowl of America. It is often not safe for swimming. How fitting that DT declares to change the name. I feel no pride, only shame.

You said “some responded that if I am still registered in the U.S. with an American cellular and data service.” An expat friend of mine who has lived in Thailand for decades and has Thai cell and data service is seeing “Gulf of America” on his phone. So if it’s still only Americans seeing it, I’d like to know what data they’re using to determine an expat American should see it, because it’s clearly not blind to who is using the phone.

We must be vigilant about every move the anti-Americans are making. This has to be checked and stopped at every occurrence, just like this arbitrary “illegal renaming” of a body of water by an ignorant, yet very dangerous dictator.
