Tonight, the last night of the DNC, we’ll hear from Joe Biden. What have you thought of the entire event and tell me about Biden’s speech.
It comes on the same day Trump tried to steal his thunder by going to Pennsylvania for a campaign event and claiming Biden is going to rip you off. But then Trump’s former chief strategist and 2016 campaign manager, Steve Bannon, was arrested today for…trying to rip you off. Specifically for defrauding people of millions of dollars to campaign to building the border wall.
It gave another gift to Democrats and I hope it’s hit on at the DNC. The grifters and corrupt people surrounding Trump underscore how he and his family are a criminal enterprise and must go.
Tell me your thoughts of the last night the DNC!
This ws powerful. Not making case as much as just taking leadership. Hits on the issues people are grappling with, and laying it to Trump. Mostly, it’s human, discussing loss people have faced, relating to it. Something Trump can never do. Whatever you say about Biden, everything he says is fueled with emotion — grief, anger, love, whatever.it’s just something Trump cannot do. It’s missing in our leadership at this moment. And Biden took it hard to Trump.
Biden is doing great. Drawing on FDR, crisis he faced. And then talking of 4 crises — pandemic, economy, racial injustice and climate change. Trump "takes no responsibility, refuses to lead, cozies up to dictators…Is that the America you want?” Talks like a human being about losing loved ones, like those in the pandemic. And discussing the economic calamity.
