Q&A discussion Sunday, August 25th, 6 ET, 3 PT
I'll be back from the Democratic National Convention, and we'll have a lot to talk about.
What a tumultuous time it has been since our last monthly Zoom Q&A.
The political world has changed dramatically, of course, and there’s excitement among Democrats, with Vice President Harris now surging. But we’re still a ways out, and polling is just polling, so it is no one can get complacent. And we see the GOP already lining up the ways they’ll cheat and challenge results. Trump is certainly making it known. There’s a lot to discuss.
I’m covering the Democratic National Convention this week for my SiriusXM program, returning to New York on Friday. So Sunday is a great day to fill you in and take questions on what happened at the DNC, as well as to talk about where we are in the presidential race.
So join the conversation as I lay it all out in a discussion with you.
We’ll meet on Sunday, August 25th, at 6 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. PT.
These Zoom chats are for paid subscribers, and you can upgrade below (or above) if you want to join. (You can listen in as well, without video, if you like, and no one is compelled to join the discussion.)
I will send the link for registration next Sunday, early in the day.
I’m very concerned about what happens outside the Convention. I hope the Gaza protesters understand that if they go too far, they’ll be helping Trump, thereby condemning Palestinians (and Israelis) to a far more horrific fate, just as the 1968 anti-war chaos outside the Chicago Democratic Convention actually helped PROLONG the Vietnam War for years, by hurting Democratic nominee Hubert Humphrey and therefore helping Richard Nixon secure his victory.
Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump or Putin (or even Foxnews) placed agitators among the Gaza protesters, to try to incite the violence of Chicago 1968, in Chicago 2024.
Ohhhhh YES PLEASE!!!!
