Surprise win for the left wing in France, where the left wing coalition trounced the nazis. At least some good news today.

Can't attend today Michelangelo, but I would just like to say as someone who has worked for a presidential campaign and someone who turns 69 in a few weeks, I care and I vote like millions of others of a certain age. We have always voted for the good of the country without regard to age. When I hear that younger generations will sit out rather than make sure that THEIR future is brighter thanks to everything President Biden has worked to do for all of us in the last 4 years, and will continue to do even though it may not affect him or me. It will affect their future. While I believe in President Biden's ability to finish his term (and I am amazed that NO ONE questions his opponents ability!), I am also very glad that my former attorney general is sitting in the 'catbird seat' in case she is needed to step in.

Project 2025 is frightening. The dumbing down of the population of the United States is equally if not more frightening. The gaslighting by the Biden team and how out of touch he is with what reality is is infuriating. I have always thought Jamie Harrison was a dope and a very ineffective and weak DNC chair. Obviously that is proving to be true. I am just disgusted. Yeah I'll vote for Biden if he's still the nominee, but what futile exercise that's going to be. I'm so angry. Biden should have said two years ago that he would be a transition president and that they should've had a real primary. Read what James Clyburn said today. We can still have a mini primary. This whole thing makes me so angry I could just scream. Typical Democrats and incompetence all the way around. They never learn. We are at risk to lose both chambers of Congress because of this now. I feel we are doomed.

I suspect that IF Biden were to step aside, he will wait until Trump accepts his nomination at the convention in 2 weeks.

Biden will announce his decision at the same time. This will have everyone (news media) talking about Biden's decision and who will be Kamala's running mate?

Stealing trumps moment in the limelight during "his" coronation. Suddenly, the age issue shift to Trump's problem.

That's an interesting proposition. Of course, I'll vote for Biden, but I do think Kamala should run with a young VP. We need to energize Dems and young people who are sitting home and uninterested. They don't realize how high the stakes are in this election.
