June was a busy month with Pride, and then came July 4th, so we haven’t had a weekend for a Zoom chat since May.
And wow, is there a lot to discuss? As the media continues its feeding frenzy over Joe Biden’s bad debate performance—while giving Donald Trump a pass on his lies and his abominable plans—none of us knows where we’ll be next week. Wherever that is, we will be discussing it.
And it will be the eve of the Republican National Convention, where we’ll be faced with MAGA madness and ugly bigotry.
The dangers of Trump grow as he runs from Project 2025, the far-right blueprint for autocracy that we’ve been discussing on my SiriusXM program, here on The Signorile Report and in these online chats for many months—and which Trump’s past and present advisers have crafted and embraced.
And the Supreme Court has transformed our country, giving the president “absolute immunity” and paving the way for Project 2025. Now, what do we do to transform the Supreme Court?
So join the conversation as I try to lay out where we are and then take questions from all of you.
We’ll meet on Sunday, July 14th, at 6 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. PT.
These Zoom chats are for paid subscribers, and you can upgrade below (or above) if you want to join. (You can listen in as well, without video, if you like, and no one is compelled to join the discussion.)
I will send the link for registration next Sunday, early in the day.
Surprise win for the left wing in France, where the left wing coalition trounced the nazis. At least some good news today.
Can't attend today Michelangelo, but I would just like to say as someone who has worked for a presidential campaign and someone who turns 69 in a few weeks, I care and I vote like millions of others of a certain age. We have always voted for the good of the country without regard to age. When I hear that younger generations will sit out rather than make sure that THEIR future is brighter thanks to everything President Biden has worked to do for all of us in the last 4 years, and will continue to do even though it may not affect him or me. It will affect their future. While I believe in President Biden's ability to finish his term (and I am amazed that NO ONE questions his opponents ability!), I am also very glad that my former attorney general is sitting in the 'catbird seat' in case she is needed to step in.
