Facts don’t matter to these people. Not the sharpest pencils in the pencil box. You’re so right in shutting them down. It’s one thing to have an opinion and another to not give a little ground when you’re presented the facts. But when you’re fed Fox News 24/7, this is how your brain turns to mush.

We put a milquetoast form of anti-gerrymandering into the Florida Constitution, and the first thing the GOP supermajority did was try to subvert it.

I was living in Florida the last time they gerrymandered it back in 2022. It’s hard to believe they can gerrymander it even more.

That was just the latest incidence of the Guardians Of Pedophiles ignoring or subverting the constitution. Remember Amendment 4 restoring voting rights for felons in 2018? The first thing they did was subvert that by undermining the express language of the provision in order to suppress voting rights.

I support the Democrats in the Texas legislature who left Texas to deny a quorum for this POS redistricting plan to give Republicans 5 more House seats. The Republicans are ignoring their own voters who spoke at the hearings, many angrily, how wrong this new plan will be.

I love your passion!

The last republican gerrymandering was racially unfair.

The 2021 Texas redistricting maps are still under judicial scrutiny. There are civil rights groups continuing to challenge the maps in federal court, with significant evidence and outcomes still pending.

The Republicans that are now saying they’re against gerrymandering, have always voted to maintain it

Truly appreciate you fighting the good fight !!

Yep! They TRY to claim the Dems do it. Yet in my WA State we have 3 seats that are GOP even though the state is SOLIDLY BLUE.

The legislature COULD create ALL 11 seats as DEMS and screw those 3 seats, so NO WE ARE NOT JUST LIKE the GOP!

THESE asses will believe what they want to even when CONFRONTED with TRUE REALITY. SAD...

If Republicans were capable of actually defending their positions, it would be worth listening to. But they aren’t because they either have none, or what they have is wildly unpopular and not in the best interest of the country. Rather than admit it, the default line is always, “What about the democrats?” Every safety net this country has ever had has been due to the democrats. All of these red states who have been existing based on blue state largesse need to figure that out and vote accordingly.

The Dems are doing their job by representing their constituents. The Repugs want to choose their voters. The Dems want the voters to decide who represents them.

Actually Gerry was a Democrat but it should have been illegal then and should be illegal now. It's killing democracy.
