How many people does he exploit to make his money

Also, why did he immediately go to that? --- so insecure.

Some people are just slow, others are slower, and it appears the more money one has or makes, the slower they are! Michael, I simply applaud your patience and tolerance. May the Creator continue to bless you, for this country desperately needs your voice, analysis, and power!

Bottom line: He's a selfish creep -- a wealthy man who wouldn't help pay for a poor person's vaccine.

Ah! A good ole case of the Arrogant “Well”. Every sentient, living thing will pass through the Four Sufferings: We’re all born, we all get old, we all get sick, and we all will die. There is no escaping these noble truths, no matter how rich, white, or how many stocks you have in Whole Foods, it’s gonna happen. So that caller is gonna die one day. His behavior while living will certainly determine how that will go for him. Because of his arrogance it may not be a pleasure cruise to the hereafter. Buddhism is truth, Life is the most valuable treasure.

Hello Michael Signorile

This comment is for you. Every time I read the Signorile substack you have a paragraph there urging people to subscribe to it for 5 dollars a month.

I must confess I would subscribe to your newsletter if I could directly mail you a check to a secret address. I have made a vow to myself to never, ever pay for anything via cyberspace. I am terrified of having my identity and banking info stolen. The very first time I tried to buy something online, My debit card was hacked and used by whoever. My bank directly notified me and I took care of the problem.

But no payments in cyberspace for me anymore.

I love listening to your show, and pretty much the progressive station on Sirius XM. You guys keep inspiration high activism alive. Blessings to you all. Bonita

I have a genetic neuromuscular disease; I didn't get it from eating "shit"—what a self-absorbed privileged asshole. I got both my vaccines, thank god, but I still go out with a mask and limit my time out in public because of this kind of asinine thinking.

Thank you Eileen. Yes, asinine.

I speak from personal experience - you cannot fix stupid nor the blissfully ignorant. A number of years ago, I tried to reason with my niece (an ardent Trumper, a self-described conservative, gun nut, and all-around hateful person) about Obama's health care plan and the advantages of national health care. Her response was, "I don't want my taxes paying for poor people's medical care!" I responded that I didn't want my taxes to pay for nuclear bombs and wars in Afghanistan, but they do. It's a kind of selfish ignorance that they are somehow proud of. At its base, it's racism, of course. Trump not only amplified this selfish ignorance, but he also reinforced it in his believers. There was nothing I could say, she then blocked me on FaceBook. I guess she didn't like the factual posts I kept sharing on her timeline.

This guy might make good money, but as a whole, Trump supporters don’t. Of all the counties that voted for Joe Biden they produce 70% of our economy, the Trump counties only 30%. from a 30,000 foot view, they’re a bunch of people that produce less but want to live as well as the rest of us. That’s the very concept of socialism, everybody is rewarded equally whether they work harder or study harder and plan better.

Wow... just WOW. Love how testy he got and how defensive. He had to brag about how great and rich than thou he is, and by extension much smarter he is than you and everyone else. That kind of hubris is just fascinating to hear. I think your conversation with Scott of Idaho is an example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. The stupid just do not realize they are stupid, in fact they are certain they are of higher intelligence. You will never convince Scott otherwise and he will never get vaccinated. It is survival of the fittest - the stupid will die. Another amazing call. Love the show Michelangelo.

Thanks Craig -- yes, something really pushed his button. I think it was when I said do you live in a cave. I meant it regarding his being isolated, not reliant on society -- he took it as me saying he poor or something. Obviously there's a lot missing, and something happened to this guy.

This argument that they don’t have to be vaccinated, their bodies deal with pathogens just fine, in an extreme case, would be the same as saying I want to drink and drive because I’m capable of doing it, don’t attack my freedoms just because other people can’t drink and drive. You just want to take away the rights of law biting citizens.

Have you ever been to Idaho particularly eastern Idaho? This is what you get they are all a bunch of Scotts. Yes, Scott may be wealthy but my bet is he's a farmer or a rancher and doesn't mind taking the socialist government subsidies and multiple freebies and grants that are available to them but a jab in the arm for a poor person is an assault on their tax dollars. I lived in Boise for 15 years and my husband has family that are ranchers in eastern Idaho so I'm familiar with the mentality of these people. Six members of the ranching family got COVID (refused to wear masks) last fall when they all went hunting and slept in a large community tent. I can't talk to these people but I'm sure they think they are immune because they had COVID and won't be getting a jab. Can you say selfish and stupid?

This cat is straight out of an Ayn Rand novella! I, Me, Mine all the time! When does it ever end for these self aggrandizing, self righteous trump-addled flagellates!

You gave him more time than he deserved and the fact you maintained such a calm demeanor throughout the interview impressed me, especially when this porcine promoter of GQP Quantum theory excuses himself from the rest of the world for not heeding scientific pandemic protocol….just because he’s so special.

He’s not a tRumper but he voted for Don Derriere Jouet! So that makes him an even bigger arse than he apparently is, which explains in short detail why he’s named Scott; the best arsewipe money can buy! He’ll never be able to wipe away the brown stain of his ignorance, regardless of how wealthy and set, he claims to be. OOOOOH…the hubris of the chosen few!

Personally, I believe he was just out for a /s-troll, doing his best Jungle Jym Jordan version of “Czarzan’.....King of the GQP bungle in the senate jungle.” Maybe Scott should start podcasting on his new show, “The Ungawa White Power Hour” where he can interview such religious luminaries as Mike ‘Lint’ell, the sly pillow guy or Creflo “how to make a Dollar” with a divine holler? A tasket, a tasket, pass the basket to help bury democracy in a casket.

Planter’s needs to create a new bag of personalized mixed nuts honoring all of those who fell off of the GQP tree into their own seditious fait accompli.

It looks like cancel culture is here to stay, for yet another day until all good progressives unite under the banner Liberte’, Egalite’, Fraternite'. France won’t mind….we already stole their “Freedom Fries”!

Thank you, Commendatore for your undying devotion to the cause without pause.

You’re the Cat’s Meow….Simba, King of the Jungle Book. Now go spank Czarzan one last time!

Ciao 4 Now,

Boom Boom

Had to comment on Scott from Idaho saying he eats right and takes care of himself so was faulting those who get sick on "earning" it because it brought up a bunch of emotions for me. My ex, the father of my children, with whom I have retained a friendship, often was frustrated with me for going to the doctor for "everything." To the point that when my son fell on his skateboard and was in real pain I had to insist that my ex take my son to the hospital and sure enough he'd broken his arm. My ex was retired from the Army so we had access to healthcare through his military service. It cost us nothing except a long drive and long wait. Still, he hated going to the doctor for anything. He ran marathons and "ate well" and when I or my kids were ever sick he acted as though we were exaggerating our discomfort or pain. All of which probably contributed to him becoming my ex. Last summer my daughter, living in Seattle, was adopting a rescue pup. We were texting as she waited for her turn to pick up her new friend. I asked if her Dad was in the loop and she said she'd called him but he told her he wasn't feeling great. So, I called him to check up on him. He didn't sound good so I insisted he promise me he'd go to a clinic. I live outside of Dallas with my husband and my Ex lives in Austin. I threatened that my husband and I would travel to Austin to take him myself if he didn't. This was all happening during the early months of Covid. He said he'd ask his neighbor to watch his dog the following day - Saturday - so he could go. While talking to his neighbor, he passed out and had to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room and from there he was admitted to the hospital. After a few days in the hospital he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. He's gone through treatment and is doing fine a year later, but he had to find a GP and Dentist to get him physically to the place where he could be treated per his Cancer specialist's instructions. He just thought he'd never get sick. He's in his early 70s so it was true for a long time, but when it wasn't, it became literal life and death. I believe his recovery was due to his healthy lifestyle BUT I live a healthy lifestyle and I still have health issues as I'm aging. Your response to Scott in Idaho saying he'd get sick some day was spot on. As stated, I know people with his belief of "if you take care of yourself you'll not get sick," and it's a fallacy. It's also privileged thinking. Most importantly, his failure to be immunized puts the rest of us at risk, so it's also selfish thinking. You were very patient with him. Kudos.

Catherine, what a a terrible and instructive story. My first thought is about people who have a phobia of the doctor and hospitals and it sounds like what your ex has. Some of them admit -- I have a friend who's not gone for a check up in years -- while others do this "tough guy" act, as they can't admit it's a fear because that is, to them, a weakness.

The second thing is, I have experience with multiple myeloma with relatives, including my father. The treatment and prognosis is ALL about how early you detect it. My father had battled lung cancer -- and survived, believe it or not -- because he had a spot on his lung from when he was 25 and his doctors watched it and watched and when they saw it change just slightly, they went in and took it out. (By the way, this was a few years after 9/11, which he survived, having been down there at the world trade center, where he owned a restaurant -- and lung cancer was one of three illnesses that people who were present developed and for which the 9/11 victims' compensation fund gave aid.)

He was lucky not once, but twice: Because he was then monitored closely his doctors found he had multiple myeloma. It was so early that he didn't go on treatment, wasn't necessary --- for years. Then he went on treatments as it advanced and lived for a nice, healthy and full life years. (Ultimately, all seemed to take a toll though --the steroids and transfusions can be a lo -- and he died of a massive heart attack in at the age of 79.) I have other relatives who have dealt with MM, however, and they didn't detect it as early (passing out sounds familiar) and have kidney decline and other issues that can't be reversed.

So again, early detection is everything.

Thank you for your reply. I agree that he probably has a phobia masked by his "tough guy" and "health nut" persona and, considering his difficult childhood, I think it probably stems from early trauma. I just wish we'd been able to talk about it while we were married as it impacted health decisions for our children and in the end our marriage.

Your father's story regarding dealing with MM and lung cancer highlights how important early detection is and how important it is to find health professionals you feel comfortable with to work together for best outcomes. I'm hoping my Ex is finding a way to manage his anxiety with doctors as he continues on his journey. He had an autologous stem cell transplant in February and is doing well. We're all hoping this has extended his life by many years.

I hope Scott from Idaho realizes he's just as vulnerable as the rest of us regardless of how well he takes care of himself and if he, too, suffers from a fear of doctors (and science), he overcomes that fear before it's too late.

Thank you for your thoughtful and informative response.

I just hope when “Mr. I Make More $ Than You,” (like who cares?!) gets sick, he does NOT present his happy ass to a HOSPITAL, where he uses up precious resources that someone else may need! I’m a nurse, and ppl like him and his attitude is a slap in the face to those of us on the front lines! 🤬🤬🤬

Scott is an idiot, who shows his colors when he said he was a trump supporter. He is most likely a rich guy who lives in an isolated bubble until he gets COVID19 and then his bubble will burst and he may die.
