I personally want to throw up if I here about another poll. Honestly nobody gives a fuck. Only stupid people that can’t do their own thinking. I have never based anything on a poll. It’s like all the hype and bullshit before the Super Bowl. And most times they’re wrong.

I appreciate the newsletter. A great summary of what’s happening.

Although off point it would behoove me to not ask that you look into some races that are off the radar— ie my own in CD2 in NJ where Tim Alexander is running against turncoat Jefferson Van Drew — who ran as a Democrat and now is a star MAGA supporter who hopes to run as tfg’s VP! Please check him out … and encourage your listeners to do the same. We need help down here!!! Thank you. Marlena on LBI NJ ….

I am not listening to the polls. I think we are going to keep the house and have enough senators to make Manchin and Sinema irrelevant. When I dropped off my ballot (Maricopa County) I had to wait to drop it off because that had to empty the drop box because of it being full. The poll worker there said they empty it at least 2 times a day and that she said it was busy like she had never seen before. I can't imagine independent voters voting for Mark Kelly and voting for Kari Lake. It doesn't make since but that is the media narrative here in Arizona. Gerrymandering is awful here in AZ for the state. I hope when we have more control that we have a national law for redistricting.

Mike,

Your analysis sounds about right. I'm working locally, in a district where the Christian Nationalists and Hindu Nationalists are battling it out for control on the GOP. That said, because my Dem colleagues are watching too much big media and NOT looking hard at the early returns. Let it suffice that I don't think "Kev" is going to be speaker of the House. That said, I also don't think Pelosi is either (she can retire on the highest of notes). But I think the Dems will control both houses. Seriously.

The polls are a joke. I have been door knocking for Congressman Andy Kim here in NJ 3rd CD and the overwhelming concern of the voters has been Dobbs. Women and Men are furious that a fifty year right has been taken away by a right wing, evangelical, christian court three of these Justices were appointed by the most immoral, lying Maggot. People ask how many abortions did the Maggot pay for over his immoral, criminal life. I just don't see how anyone can pull the republicon lever.

I allowed the media narrative to make me very stressed last week. Stopped watching and reading news to clear my head ... also got more diligent in walking 2-4 miles a day. It seems to have helped some .... and the explanation of what has *really* been going on with polling etc. has also improved my mood to some extent.

Democrats should use the republican's words against them in campaign ads in every state.

Republicans have stated that they will gut Social Security and Medicare via Rick Scott's messaging, and recently confirmed by GOP House members that they intend to hold the debt ceiling hostage to achieve it.

Republicans have stated that they intend to pass a nationwide abortion ban once they are back in power. Pence this week made it even more ominous.

Republicans have stated they will gut the recently passed infrastructure bill.

Republicans are still talking about killing off the Affordable Care Act.

All the Dems need to do is have a national campaign message in every state that shows video of these GOP politicians telling us in their own words what their plans are and say 'your vote for any Republican is a vote to give life to these policies. Is that what you want?'

Run it in every district, don't even mention who the protaganists are on either side. Just say 'a vote for a republican is a vote for those things'

On realclearpolitics.com, I am noticing that support for both candidates is going down. I have this hope that it is because the early voters (who supported the democrats) are no longer responding to polls. I am beginning to get my hopes up, too.
