She is a disgrace on every level in every way.

The thought of her receiving a lifetime pension is nauseating

What will it take for seemingly educated lawmakers to see the light of an oncoming train? George Santos, Mad Marge and Fratboy Gaetz, Bimbo Boebert to name a few (only one of which has a higher education degree). They've got to realize that politicians who don't give the constituents anything do not have a long shelf life. Firebrands lose their appeal when their britches get too big. Just the sheer chutzpah displayed by Mad Marge as if she had a mandate to tell her colleagues what to do while not possessing any discernable leverage whatsoever. That the Russian propaganda undid her perceived clout should be a lesson to all repugnants that louder voices doesn't mean your opinion is particularly salient. As I noted before governing via subtraction only gets you so far. Constituents know how to put you out to pasture...

Hopefully MTG is done, though her voters won’t stop her. What of Rand Paul and those who went to Moscow 7/4? All should be investigated

Did the fever break yet? We've got seven months. Perhaps a little reality is starting to set into our electorate.

I am offering a penny(I found !!) towards the “relocation” of Marjorie Taylor to a nice little dacha in a quiet area in Russia… close to the Ukraine border.

I hope her constituents are ready boot her ass out. She is useless and a loudmouth and no nothing. She and a lot of republicans sound really stupid and uneducated about the facts. And what other conclusion can be drawn that if you are against Ukraine then you are pro-Putin and that is just bullshit!! Putin will not stop at Ukraine, he will keep invading more countries. Now, one thing I feel is good about the new congress is the freshmen Congress men and women on the democratic side, like Jared Moscowitz and Jasine Crocket and a few others because they have no more "fucks" to give. They speak truth to power and they put the republicans in the perspective places.

No way will Mike oust her no way. He doesn’t have the guts nor the will to do it. He let it pass with her antics at SOTU … he’s a fucking disgrace along with her and the whole GOP

Slanted forehead cavewoman, Barney Rubble & his 1st cousin’s daughter, feckless * blonde bimbo. One of the most despicable low IQ, low information conspiracists in the entire nation. I can’t stand to hear that voice. Just can’t. Still can visualize her aggressively chasing after Parkland FL mass shooting survivor David Hogg and totally harassing him. What is a word for deplorable, despicable and disgusting x 100,000 ? That would fit. Ugh. When can we be rid of her, start cleaning things up in DC !

Mikey let all those Ukrainians die over the past six months. Then he gets a briefing and changes his mind? Maybe the briefing helped, but he still is a fascist. As for Moscow Marge, she is a sociopathic narcissist, and she never will change. Mikey also may be a narcissist. But Margie also adds psychopathy, meaning that she is untethered to reality around her. Mikey may not really care about others, but I thinks he is somewhat tethered to reality.

The media was all over praising Johnson. Did anyone ask Johnson why it took him so long? Did God tell him, wait, wait, wait, ok now go! Why no mention of the evangelicals' involvement in Johnson's decision to move forward?

I was wondering why Trump didn't back Marjorie. Thanks Michelangelo for explaining.

Is Marjorie popular in her district? She needs to go. Up until now she has been acting as if she is the Speaker of the House.

Apropos of nothing, Mike Johnson's voice really irritates me now.

I'm willing to give Mike Johnson a smidgen of credit on this. Yes, he took far to long to do anything, and yes, it would have been much cleaner if they simply voted on the bill passed by the Senate after extended negotiations (in which the republicans probably would have ended up with more "wins" than in these separate bills passed by the House).

This action by Johnson doesn't move the needle on many things, but I'm reminded of the many public figures and politicians that have been virulently anti-LGBT who found the light and modified their positions (usually after one of their own children came out of the closet). One good deed doesn't suddenly undo all of their past heinous acts, but we still acknowledge the step forward they took.

Thou art forgiven, I write whilst triggered as well. The result of too many spelling bee wins as a elementary and middle school student, my older brother introduced me to comics at age 4. First grade Dick and Jane was an insult when I was reading the local paper to parents at the time...
