I'm thankful for many things, and one of them is the progressive radio lineup that informs and inspires us every day -- you Michaelangelo, Stephanie, Dean, Thom Hartmann, Fugelsang, Bob Cesca, Mike Malloy. We literally have our satellite radio on from 6 am to 9 pm weekdays. It's our beacon!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Michelangelo. We are all so thankful for you!!

As crazy as things are, I have to make sure to take a second and remember that we were very lucky this past election and that everyone came out to vote to ensure our democracy stayed in tact (even if it's still hanging by a thread). I believe Warnock is going to win and we'll at least an actual majority in the Senate and ensure normal judges are placed in lifelong appointments. As much as the House will be a complete shit show, I do think there will be a divide on the GOP side and we may even get some GOPers who side w the dems. McCarthy (if he's even put in Speaker role) will have a circus on his hands and sadly not much will get done. We'll have to rely on the Senate and Biden and hopefully in 2024 MGT, Boebert, Gaetz, and Jordon will finally be voted out.

Heading out to soon to see family and enjoy some good food (I made cornbread & andouille stuffing and my acorn squash casserole with chicken sausage, spinach, and pine nuts) and downtime but wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! Thanks for keeping me sane!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Michelangelo. I am grateful for all you do to keep us sane in these trying times. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in The Signorile Report family, as well. I am grateful for the positive atmosphere as we post about politics and other topics. This is a safe space that is free from too much negativity and trolling. Hubby and I hosted about 10 close family members today. We had good food and drink, laughed, watched football, and basked in the pleasure of getting together for the first time in months. I choose gratitude every single day.

Sure, they keep telling us that it's "critical" to have 51 seats as opposed to 50 in the Senate. Aside from the obvious advantage of retaining Senator Rev Raphael Warnock as the strong moral voice of the US Senate, are there actual procedural advantages to having 51 without Vice President Kamala Harris needing to stand by during every close vote to break a tie?

Why, yes!

Committees need no longer be evenly split between the parties, which means Democrats can issue subpoenas without GOP agreement. Dems can move nominations for Executive Branch offices and--critically!--federal judges without resorting to the entire body to "discharge" each nomination from committee. These are the big two advantages, but I bet Mike's readers can help us all come up with more reasons to re-elect Sen Warnock next month.

Not a Georgian?

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

Let's make it a wonderful Pearl Harbor Day on 12/6 for Georgia, America, and Sen. Warnock.

Hey Mike, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Husband!

This is a tough Thanksgiving. Lost my Mom in November 2019 and my Dad this past July. The firsts are the hardest. We still have our Matriarch, Gloria ( step-mom or Mamma2) but she is in NYC.

Growing up on Long Island the tradition was always watching the Macy’s Day Parade while the grownups cooked. I watched it today in honor of my Dad who loved to watch it every year. We always got the call, “Turn on the Parade!!!!” Hanukkah will be even harder this year. But! We persevere because that is what my parents would want. This year we threw out the Turkey idea and my husband is smoking ribs and making his famous pinto beans. It’s a beautiful day in the Valley of the sun! No politics today🚫

Enjoy your time with your Mom! They are precious moments and memories. ❤️
