GREAT job Michaelangelo! It is interesting how they’re not calling and yelling/strident anymore. I recall various TV shots on the night Trump was elected—they showed a bar in Wisconsin and this guy had a look of total guilt on his face. I often think about people like that and hope they’re listening and learning and not just in the QAnon, Fox, Breitbart bubble. Anyway thanks for posting. All I have to say about those Drumpf cult news channel viewers (InfoWhores, FAUX news, Breitfart, Qasson, etc.) is that they aren't getting any younger, and that we outnumber them. Even thought these RW-pricks brag about "oh, Fox News is the highest rated news show blah, blah blah" 1) It's only in cable they are no. 1 in news, with the broadcast news programs still beating them 3 to 1 in ratings. 2) They are only ahead of their rival CNN by 18,000 viewers. and 3) There are more viewers of MSNBC and CNN combined than FAUX news.
As far as Faux news on military bases is concerned, it mostly has to do with the higher ranks being chock full of right-wing assholes. The lower-ranks (like myself) would usually have the radio on the music channels or crank up a CD. We'd usually look at news on our own time. I also notice that a lot of hotels were paid off by Faux to have their lobby TV always has Faux new on 24/7. Although I noticed the Residence Inn hotels only have the local news stations on in their lobby nowadays.
Such patience from Michelangelo, and to give Nick (the caller) his due, you could sense the rational part of his brain digesting the info . I think you did a masterclass job of persuasion, you will hear from Nick again. Hopefully, he will see the light and be part of the blue wave in Michigan.

It's still overcast and in the mid-60's in Seattle and it's never a dull day out here! Glad I live on the west side in a quiet neighborhood during this time of social unrest out here.
My 401k has gone down the crapper. I had to transfer my mutual funds in my 401k to a safer bond fund w/o much growth just in case the market takes another drop.
